Merry Christmas! My boyfriend and I recently got into the holiday spirit by making our very first art purchase. On a tight budget, we wanted to find art prints for our parents and grandparents that celebrated our recent move to Seattle.
We scoured the websites of local galleries, and found that Stonington Gallery had a really good selection of affordable, beautiful Pacific Northwest prints.

As you can see, my taste in art is pretty eclectic already, and growing more so every day. Whenever I see something I don't like, I try to find one quality in it that I love--for example, this Salish art was pretty foreign to me when I first looked at it, but the color choice and juxtaposition (in this beautiful example below, especially) really caught my eye.
